Its Cortese grapes come from a magnificent hilly amphitheater north of Gavi, located on clayey-sandy soils with southwest exposure. It comes from the very hills where I watch the moon set on the horizon in the early hours of the day: that's the secret of its name! Luna concentrates the most typical expressions of the Cortese grape and is very versatile: good when young, it ages beautifully for a few years in the cellar. Its aroma recalls the savory, salty sea air but conveys the charm of a ripe pineapple salad scented with basil and marjoram. On the palate, it is smooth, the salad is enriched with medlar, remaining balanced and pulpy, and closing with a delightful almondy finish.
